Use of Sedation and Anesthesia Guidelines
At its October 13, 2011 meeting, Council approved, in principle, proposed Guidelines respecting the Use of Sedation and General Anaesthesia in Dental Practice, along with a proposed amendment to the College’s Fees by-law to increase the initial facility permit application fee and annual renewal fee for Sedation and General Anaesthesia.

At that same meeting, Council approved, in principle, a new by-law establishing the infrastructure and process authorizing members to use Dental CT Scanners in compliance with the related Standard of Practice and the Regulation under the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act (HARP). This proposed new by-law includes a proposed fee structure for initial applications and renewals of facility permits for Dental CT Scanners.
