COUNCIL ORIENTATION / EDUCATION SESSIONS
During the three days, the Council agenda included a special orientation session led by Registrar Irwin Fefergrad focusing on the leadership and policy role of the Council. A new component of the Council agenda was several thoughtful education sessions: noted litigator Eleanore Cronk’s review of the latest legal status of informed consent and the impact on dental practitioners; Dr. John Hardie’s discussion of his paper on infection control; and Pollara chairman Michael Marzolini’s presentation on strategic communications research.
