Proposed Amendments to By-Law No. 4

By now many of you may have already heard that Council voted unanimously in favour of a proposed staged fee increase at its meeting on May 9. The fees have not changed in the last seven years, since 2007.

The increase would be in two stages: one for your 2014 fees and another for your 2015 fees.

Even with these two proposed increases, you will still be paying the lowest fees, for both your registration fee and professional liability protection, of virtually any dental regulatory college in the country.

These changes, if ultimately approved by Council, would come into effect for the 2014 and 2015 membership years. They will be applicable to the annual fee due on December 15, 2013 and December 15, 2014 for initial registration on or after January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2015.
