As a result of its investigation of a complaint, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee decided to caution Dr. Matthew David Orzech as follows: • The panel cautions Dr. Orzech to use proper professional judgment in deciding whether implant treatment is appropriate for a given patient, and in handling a complex implant case appropriately. For complex implant cases, the panel cautions Dr. Orzech to do a thorough case work-up, to consider referrals to specialists, and to employ a multidisciplinary approach that considers all aspects of a patient’s dentition, in order to determine the appropriate treatment plan for a patient.
