Mental Health Resources


Mental health is the state of your psychological and emotional well-being. It is a necessary resource for living a healthy life and a main factor in overall health. One in five Canadians experience a mental illness or addiction  problem. By the time Canadians reach 40 years of age, one in two have or have had a mental illness. 

Taking care of your mental health takes practice, patience and support. There are many public resources available to help you if you are experiencing a mental health concern or illness, including the following resources:
