Stockpiling guidelines for PPE
The Ministry of Health has issued stockpiling guidelines and inventory management best practices for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This applies to Health Care Entities, such as dental offices.Dentists should ensure they have adequate supplies of PPE, such as N95 respirators and medical masks, to implement routine practices and prepare for any additional precautions or pandemic measures. Dentists should source PPE through their regular supply chain; however, if offices are unable to source PPE they can access supplies from the Ministry of Health’s stockpile.
