Caution
- Current Status:
- Completed
-
As a result of a complaint, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee decided to caution Dr. Evan Perry Cohen as follows: • Your clinical treatment did not meet the expected professional standard. You failed to adequately treatment plan, and as a result, your treatment had a poor prognosis and resulted in a poor outcome for the Patient. • You failed to adequately reflect upon your treatment, and you failed to recognize the deficiencies of your clinical practice in this matter. It is incumbent upon Ontario dentists to be self-critical practitioners who continually seek to improve their practice. It is highly disappointing that instead of engaging in serious reflection over your clinical treatment, you sought to blame the patient for the poor treatment outcome. • It is expected that you will learn from the course and this caution such that your clinical practice and professional conduct will be remediated.
