RCDSO annual membership renewal now open

Dentists can now renew their certificate of registration in the RCDSO Portal. The renewal deadline is December 15, 2022.

RCDSO Council passed a $485 fee increase at its September 15, 2022 meeting. The fee increase allows the College to:

  • adequately fund the Professional Liability Program (PLP)
  • account for inflationary increases
  • fund the College’s mandated regulatory requirements.

The College held a consultation on this issue from June 30 to August 29.

Why should I renew early?

We have more than 11,000 members. Renewing early allows time for staff to answer your questions or provide technical assistance ahead of the deadline.

To submit a resignation notice log into the RCDSO member portal and navigate to Submit Resignation Notice in the menu. For more information, visit our renewal FAQ.

Why if I do not plan on renewing?

We do not have a “retired” or “part-time” class of license, nor can we put a license “on hold”. Members can either renew or resign their license.

Important information

Mandatory reporting legally requires a dentist to provide information about themselves, another dentist or another regulated health professional to the RCDSO, other relevant regulators or authorities. Learn more about your obligations.

If you are applying for a reduced annual fee to provide volunteer dentistry services only, visit our renewal FAQ for information on whether you are eligible and how to apply. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2022.
